On January 20th, 2012, we joined Move to Amend affiliates around the country to Occupy the Courts in support of our Move to Amend the Constitution.

  • Occupy the Courts: The Amendment Transformation
    The street drama shows the dominance of money in our current system of politics and how the People can resolve the problem with an amendment to the Constitution.

  • Occupy the Courts: The Judge Recants
    Emotionally affected by the People's amendment. The judge renounces his decision in Citizens United v. FEC.

  • Occupy the Courts: Call to the People
    Exhortation to people from all political parties and parts of the political spectrum to come together to preserve the American ideals of personal freedom, equality, and self-government. Sam Fedele from Move to Amend - Rochester calls for an amendment to the Constitution to overturn the decision in Citizens United v. FEC.

  • The Representatives Speak
    Statements of support from Senators Gillibrand and Schumer, and Congresswoman Slaughter are read by Move to Amend member Kate Kressman-Kehoe.

    An award was presented to Rex Vail, a Brighton, NY resident for securing the first Town resolution supportive of a constitutional amendment.
