Last night, in the wee hours of the morning, the Brighton Town Board voted unanimously in support of the Move to Amend!!

In a 5-0 vote, they "Authorize Town support of 'Move to Amend' the Constitution of the United States to recognize that Corporations are not endowed with the same Constitutional Rights related to the fourteenth Amendment as people, and therefore the expenditure of corporate money to influence the electoral process is no longer a form of constitutionally protected speech"

The Town of Brighton has passed a resolution to amend. copy attached. I guess my talk to the Town Board had some effect. The vote for the Resolution was 5 to 0. I hope this will help other town and the City to move to amend also.
